DOLE Bicol Eyes ZERO Backlog in Labor Cases by December

Legazpi City– The pile of Labor Standards Cases in DOLE Bicol is slowly vanishing. This was after DOLE Bicol regional director Rovelinda A. Dela Rosa commissioned the Task Force Zero Case Backlog on the first week of September.

“I can’t stand to watch the pile of folders on labor standards. All cases must be finished and decided by December,” DOLE Bicol regional director Rovelinda A. Dela Rosa stressed.

The task force has significantly lessened 82% the Labor Standards Cases from the 137 cases needing decisions, 113 were already finally drafted and some were already released and the rest will be released before the end of this month.

Leading the seven (7) man Task Force is DOLE asst. reg. dir. Teodoro T. Delson. The task force was created to finalize draft decisions of Labor Cases in three day time from October 11-13 at Sarung Banggi Resort, Brgy. San Pedro Sto. Domingo, Albay.

“The target is for them to finish and finalize the decisions of all pending cases including those that were docketed recently especially ENDO cases,” DOLE Bicol regional director Rovelinda A. Dela Rosa added.

It can be recalled that during her assumption as DOLE Bicol regional director, RD Rovelinda Dela Rosa promised to implement faster ways in resolving Labor Standards Cases– fin.
