Meanwhile, Ryan Llona, 23 of Brgy. Taysan expressed gratitude when he received the therapy supplies and materials.

He is an automotive graduate but studied in the Alternative Learning System to get skills for massage therapy.

“These materials for therapy are very useful to me as I accept massage and therapy jobs here in our barangay,” Llona said.

With the materials and supplies, Llona added that her usual P200 per client earnings is expected to increase.

Analiza Del Mundo, 43, who has a sari-sari store in front of her house, received a sewing machine as well as scissor, safety pin, office pin, sewing needles, measuring tapes, sewing tools and craft sewing material supplies.

She worked as a seamstress handling high-speed sewing machines in Manila before she left the province. However, having five (5) children left in the province, she decided to return to Legazpi and chose to work near home to attend to her children needs.

Her husband is working in a construction industry wherein income is not sufficient to address the needs of his family.

“I’m so grateful for this Kabuhayan Kit I received from DOLE. Aside from the earnings I get from sari-sari store, I can now accept sewing services wherein I can make curtains, uniforms and others. Additional income indeed!”, Del Mundo shared.
