The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol garnered four (4) national awards during the Labor Inspection Summit held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City earlier today.
These recognitions highlighted the unparalleled efforts of the regional office, the continued success of the labor inspection program, and the effective administration and enforcement of labor laws and other social legislation.
DOLE Bicol received plaques of recognition for recording the Effective Implementation of the Labor Inspection Program for 2022; High General Labor Standards Compliance (from initial compliance rate vs compliance rate after Mandatory Conference and before Compliance Order; Effective and Efficient Management of Appealed Labor Standards Case Records for 2022.
The Regional Office also received a plaque of appreciation for the significant contribution to the development of the DOLE Online Systems for 2022.
Regional Director Ma. Zenaida A. Angara-Campita said that these awards will serve as an inspiration and motivation to work harder and raise the quality of service to our clients and partners.
The 2-day summit with the theme, "Firming Up Labor Inspection through Synergistic Actions towards Ensuring Decent Work" will showcase the best practices of DOLE Regional Offices on the implementation of inspection programs, a presentation of the Annual Labor Inspection Report, discussion on the new inspection framework and implementation strategies and capacity building of the labor inspectorate.
